Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation (OTE) is an environmentally-focused project developer focused on Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) and Seawater Air Conditioning (SWAC).  We concentrate on emerging markets that provide the opportunity to bring improved conditions to parts of our world devastated by a shortage of water and high-energy costs.

Marketing Intern

This position will report to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Write articles and interviews for our blog, website, and social media
  • Find relevant third-party content for distribution on social media
  • Schedule social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Assist with newsletter creation and distribution
  • Proofread social media communications, investor communications, press releases, etc.
  • Create and review reports for Facebook and Google Analytics
  • Make edits to our websites and marketing collateral as needed
  • Assist with Public Relations and Investor Relations management
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong written communication skills a must
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, and Google Analytics
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • WordPress experience preferred
  • Team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with graphic design and/or Photoshop a plus

 

Business Administration Intern

This position will report to the Office Manager.

  • Produces information by formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text and data
  • Answering and referring inquiries from investors, potential investors, vendors, and potential customers
  • Greets customers, in person or on the phone
  • Filing
  • Organizes and distributes correspondence
  • Perform other duties as needed by the Officer Manager

  • WordPress experience preferred
